The nursing program at Langara is intense. Nine back-to-back semesters with little to no time to work a part-time job. Langara College Faculty of Nursing program is one of the most well-known and competitive programs in the province. Demand for financial aid is growing as the rising costs of living and caps on financial aid allocations to students continue.To access more resources, we need your help. 

Each year, hundreds of aspiring nurses choose Langara for our reputation for excellence, real-world clinical learning, and deep connections to BC’s health care system. Our nursing students don’t just study here – they grow into capable, compassionate professionals who care for our communities.

We’re expanding all of our nursing programs by 50% by 2026. That means more students in our Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Nursing Practice in Canada programs – and a need for more instructors, more simulation labs, and more support. Langara nurses consistently rank among Canada’s best. Our BSN grads have an average NCLEX pass rate of 98%, and 81% are employed within three months of graduation. They learn by doing –starting in high-fidelity simulation suites that mimic real-life clinical settings, supported by experienced educators and strong partnerships with health authorities.
