Career Workshops Fall 2025 (Online)

These one hour workshops are designed to help students understand the hiring process and tips for job application submissions, resumes, cover letters and more. A Zoom link will be sent to you a day prior to the event. 

Resume Reviews Fall 2025

Online Resume Reviews take place on select dates below. Students will receive a Zoom login a day in advance and are asked to share their resume prior to the session for a thorough review. These are 30 minute sessions max and one person per session. Registration is requiredsessions are first come, first serve basis and no shows will be monitored.

  • Monday, September 22 at 11:00 am
  • Monday, September 22 at 12:00 pm
  • Thursday, September 25 at 1:00 pm
  • Thursday, September 25 at 2:00 pm
  • Wednesday, October 1 at 12:00 pm

In Person Resume Reviews take place on select dates below. Please bring your computer or a printed copy of your resume to review. These are 30 minute sessions max and one person per session. There will be registration the day of the session and all time slots are first come first serve basis and no shows will be monitored.

  • Thursday, September 11 from 2:30–4:30 pm
  • Friday, September 26 from 11:00 - 1:00 pm
  • Wednesday, October 1 from 4:00–5:00 pm
  • Visit us in room A236 Fridays October 3, 10, 17 and 24th between 1-3pm for resume and career help

This Friday drop in series October to December between 1:00-3:00 pm is for students who need help with resumes, LinkedIn, networking, interview practice. Room A236

Career Talks is a series of career panels that will feature experts from a variety of industries. Each panel will focus on a different theme including hiring trends, science & tech, business, and more.

Alumni Talks

Alumni Talks is a panel series, hosted in collaboration with Alumni & Community Engagement, where Langara graduates will share their experiences, challenges, and career journeys.

Tech Talks

Tech Talks is a series of monthly panels where industry experts will talk about a day in the life of their career, the position and skills required to do their work, and tips for students entering their company.

Co-op Program

The Co-op Program allows you to alternate study semesters with paid work terms and gain valuable work experience before you graduate from your academic program.

Disney Field School Program

The Disney Field School program blends academic coursework at the University of California, Riverside and at the Disney University with six months of supervised paid training at Walt Disney World.
