Fall 2025 Back-to-School Event Descriptions 

Wayfinding | Tuesday, September 2 - Friday, September 5, 2025 | 8:00 am - 2:30 pm | A building Main Foyer

Feeling a bit lost on your first few days at Langara? Come to the A Building Main Foyer and look out for our GO Team student volunteers wearing orange VOLT t-shirts. GO Team volunteers will be available to answer your questions, identify relevant services, help you find your classes or give you tips on where the best places are on campus to find coffee/tea, food or even where to relax in-between classes. 

Back-to-School Promoter Fair | Tuesday, September 2 - Friday, September 5, 2025 | 10:00 am - 4:00 pm | A building Main Foyer

Are you looking for a new mobile phone provider or wanting to open a student bank account? The week-long Promoter Fair is an opportunity Langara students to learn more about some great deals and opportunities from our community partners, and for local businesses to connect with Langara students! 

94.5 Virgin Radio Campus Craze | Tuesday, September 2 | Time TBC | Front Lawn

94.5 Virgin Radio is making a stop at Langara College! Join the Virgin Radio Street Squad on the front lawn for your chance to win swag, samples, free Sapporo Ichiban Ramen noodles for a year, and $2500! 

Back-to-School Block Party! | Wednesday, September 3, 2025 | 11:00 am - 4:00 pm | Front Lawn & A building Main Foyer

Block Party is the back-to-school event that you don’t want to miss! Featuring live music, performances, games and activities, and free food, there’s something for everyone. Stay for the whole event or pop by between classes - we can't wait to party with you.

Are you looking to improve your French, up your Chess game, or connect with colleagues in your academic program? If you’re interested in making new friends, learning new skills, or exploring new interests, Clubs Day is for you! Get to know about Langara’s active student clubs and learn how you can get involved.  

VOLT Volunteer Fair | Tuesday, September 10, 2025 | 10:00 am - 3:00 pm |  A building Main Foyer

Volunteering is a great way to make a difference, gain experience, and expand your professional network. Come meet both internal and external organizations at the VOLT Volunteer Fair to learn about some volunteer opportunities in the community. 

Fall Student Social | Thursday, September 11, 2025 | 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm | LSU Upper lounges

Join Langara Global and Student Life in the LSU Upper Lounge to meet other students, faculty, and staff from snəw̓eyəɬ leləm̓ Langara College. Open to all new Langara students–international, Indigenous, domestic, Regular Studies and Continuing Studies! Play some games, enter to win prizes, and get to know your Langara community. Light refreshments will be served.
