Laser Engrave & Cut Workshop

Wednesday July 2nd - 10:30am to 11:30am or 2:00pm to 3:00pm   

Intro for our Trotec Speedy 300 laser. The Trotec can engrave and cut: wood, Plexiglas, cardboard, paper, ABS and leather. We start with how to create a file in Adobe Illustrator. We then go to the laser and show you how to engrave and cut wood.

 

3D Printers Intro - Bambu X-1 Carbon

Wednesday July 9th- 10:30am to 11:30am or 2:00pm to 3:00pm   

We show you how to process your 3D file for our Bambu X-1 Carbon 3D filament printers. We will go over the; procedures, best practices and tips when preparing your 3D file. We then demo how to operate the 3Dprinters.

 

How To Sew on Industrial Sewing Machines

Wednesday July 16th- 10:30am to 11:30am or 2:00pm to 3:00pm   

We will show you how to use our new Techsew 1660 and Techsew 2750 industrial sewing machines. We will also demo our new Techsew Serger. Each sewing workshop is limited to 4 people as you will be hands on one of the machines.

 

Metal Machining Workshop  

Wednesday July 23rd- 10:30am to 11:30am or 2:00pm to 3:00pm   

We will demonstrate what sort of objects and sizes can be machined on the PCNC440 metal mill.. We will then get into how to prepare your file to deliver to Makerspace. Makerspace will create the final machining file and then work with you on the actual machining.  Open to everyone!
