Langara's Makerspace
Make Things Better
Explore, Innovate, Create at the Makerspace
Makerspace is open to students, staff, and faculty
Open 8:00 am to 12:00 pm & 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm on weekdays.
We welcome students, staff, and faculty to visit and use the Makerspace.
The Makerspace is more than a room filled with tools – it’s a launchpad for ideas, a creative hub where innovation meets opportunity. Whether you’re a student eager to experiment beyond the classroom, a faculty member developing research prototypes, or staff pursuing a passion project, the Makerspace invites you to bring your vision to life.
We provide access to cutting-edge equipment and technical expertise that may otherwise be unavailable – 3D printing, laser cutting, industrial sewing, electronics, CNC metal mills, digital fabrication, and more. While some academic courses are integrated with Makerspace resources, we proudly welcome individuals undertaking personal projects that can ignite real-world applications and career pathways.
