For Parents, Friends, Partners, and Allies

If someone you know and care about has experienced sexualized violence, it can be overwhelming trying to understand how to support them. This is normal. The most important role you have when you receive a disclosure is to listen and support your loved one. Be gentle with yourself; it is a process.

Here are some resources that can help you understand how sexual violence impacts survivors, and how you can best support those survivors.
